Creating Your Account

When you first sign up for Moonrank, you’ll be guided through our onboarding wizard:
  1. Enter Your Website URL - This is where your articles will be published
  2. Verify Your Site - Add a DNS record or upload an HTML file to verify ownership
  3. Configure Your CMS - Connect WordPress, Webflow, or manual publishing
  4. Set Your Goals - Define what success looks like (traffic targets, ranking positions, etc.)

Dashboard Preferences

Configure how Moonrank displays information in your Settings → Dashboard Preferences:
  • Default Time Range - Choose between 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or custom date ranges
  • Notification Frequency - Get daily, weekly, or monthly summaries
  • Content Language - Select your preferred language for article generation
  • Timezone - Set your timezone for accurate scheduling

CMS Integration

WordPress Integration

  • Install the Moonrank plugin from your WordPress dashboard
  • Authenticate with your Moonrank account
  • Articles will auto-publish as drafts for your review

Manual Publishing

  • Generate articles in Moonrank
  • Copy the content and publish manually to your site
  • Update the article URL in Moonrank to track performance

API Integration

  • Use Moonrank’s API to automate publishing
  • See API Reference section for detailed documentation

Team Management

Add Team Members

  1. Go to Settings → Team
  2. Click “Invite Member”
  3. Enter their email address
  4. Select their role: Admin, Editor, or Viewer

Role Permissions

  • Admin - Full access to all features and settings
  • Editor - Can create, edit, and publish articles; cannot access settings
  • Viewer - Read-only access to reports and analytics

Billing & Subscription

View Your Plan

  • Navigate to Settings → Billing
  • See your current subscription tier
  • View next billing date and cost

Upgrade or Downgrade

  • Click “Change Plan” to modify your subscription
  • Changes take effect at your next billing cycle
  • Downgrading within 30 days qualifies for a prorated refund

Manage Payment Method

  • Update your credit card or billing information
  • Set up invoice email delivery
  • Export billing history

Two-Factor Authentication

Protect your account with 2FA:
  1. Go to Settings → Security
  2. Click “Enable Two-Factor Authentication”
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
  4. Enter the 6-digit code to verify
  5. Save your backup codes in a safe place

Email Preferences

Control what emails you receive:
  1. Settings → Email Preferences
  2. Toggle specific email types on/off:
    • Daily ranking updates
    • Article performance alerts
    • Weekly summaries
    • Technical audit reports
    • System notifications
